How do I develop passion to learn?

• Know what you are good at: This is a very important step in learning. You just have to identify what you are good at and what you love doing. This helps to sustain your passion. Definitely one cannot have passion for what one hates. After you have identified what you love, learning will be very easy. This step is very important because as long as you love something, even if it becomes tough, you'll still face it. Your love for that thing will keep you going.

• Stay with it: Yes this is another important step. You must create time for learning. It should be very intentional. The longer you stay with what you want to learn, the better it sticks. Time is very important in achieving our goals. We must not waste time at all. Once you have identified what you want to learn, give it all the time and attention that you can give. Make sure you know everything about it and even do a lot of research about it.

• Know your learning style: You have to identify the best way you learn and also the best time you learn. For some people, they learn better very early in the morning while for others, it's in the afternoon or night. Find the best time you can concentrate. Make sure you are able to assimilate. The most important thing is for you to have full grasp of what you are learning. Make sure you make your learning as interesting as possible. Some people learn better by watching videos while others learn better by reading content. The best way to learn is by combining both. You just have to make the learning happen and be excellent at what you learn.

• Cut of distractions: There are a million things that can distract us while learning. We just have to cut them off. We have to face the important thing; which is learning. Focus is very important, in order to achieve excellence. Learn to give full attention to the important things you do per time. Distractions will slow you down, shed them off.

• Get all necessary resources and seek assistance from experts if needed: This is another very important step. No man is an island. You need to meet people. You need to network. You need to ask for help when you need help. You also have to get all needed resources. For a developer and tech-savvy, a lot of information are available online. As we commonly say: "Google is your best friend". You can leverage on information from Google, YouTube, stack overflow and many more. There is actually no end to learning. We learn everyday.

• Put what you learn into action: This is done by working hard. It is done by practicalizing what you learnt. You most times become good after you learn when you apply for jobs or internships that can make you better and increase your knowledge base. The only way companies and internships will employ you is if you are excellent and exceptional in what you do. This is why the foundation of learning is still very important.

• Don't forget to pray: I am a Christian and I believe so much in Prayers because I know that after I have done my best and put in the work, it is Jesus Christ that will bless my efforts. You could do the same too. After you have worked hard and you have learnt all you can, ask God to bless you efforts and give you Grace to learn even the more.

Here is the interesting part that everyone wants to hear. Yes we must get the cash. It's is very important too. Here is the simple answer to the simple questions above:

"When you give all you can to learning and working hard combined with the Grace of God upon you, Money will look for you".

This is very true because once you are excellent at what you do, employers will be the one looking for you. Jobs will be looking for you and you'll now be the one to choose the one you want because you have paid the price of learning, working and believing God. Set your focus on becoming excellent at what you do so that you can get that excellent sum of money you desire. Put in the work, time, effort and sacrifice in learning, working hard and applying for jobs, it will pay off in the end. No effort is a waste!
